Reception field trip to Kidzania May 15, 2017On Friday 12 May, Reception children visited Kidzania in Siam Paragon for their end of term field trip.Prior to their trip they had been learning all about ‘Going Places,’ focusing on different occupations linked to going on holiday and travelling around our local community. At Kidzania, the children took on different roles such as pilots, firefighters, shopkeepers, doctors, mechanics, chefs, postal workers and vets.As pilots, they wore their smart pilot uniform and headed for the cockpit, where they skilfully and carefully controlled the plane, landing it safely at the final destination. In the 7/11, the children had to select their own shopping and then switch roles from customer to shopkeeper, scanning all of the items through the till. As doctors, they cared for all of the tiny babies in the nursery, as they got them dressed and put them in their little beds. One of the most popular activities was at the fire station, where the children learned all of the safety rules, then raced across Kidzania to put out the fire at the hotel. Some of us also made our own milk, while others fixed the cars. What a fantastic day.As always, Early Years gratefully thank all of the parent volunteers who joined them on the trip, whose continued support makes all of our special events possible. All photos by Dej Tulayadhan. For more information, please contact Helen Young: hyoung@bkkprep.ac.th KEY STAGE 3 SCHOOL PHOTOGRAPHS – MONDAY 1ST – WEDNESDAY 3RD MARCH 2021Dear Key Stage 3 Parents, I am writing to let you know that the official Secondary School photographs ...See More Eco-Schools Green Flag ReaccreditationBangkok Prep has achieved a second round accreditation of the Eco-Schools Green Flag Award, in which ...See More EPQ Student Speaks at World Health Innovation SummitThis week a Year 13 EPQ student was invited to speak at the World Health Innovation Summit to discuss ...See More
