Year Two Learn About The Continent of Africa BKK Prep, News, Primary November 19, 2018Year Two have been learning all about the continent of Africa. We were lucky enough to have Ms. Darrell from the Republic of the Congo come to visit us and tell us all about her fascinating country. Ms. O’Connor, one of our Year Two teachers, has lots of wonderful Kenyan artefacts at home which she shared with us. We all made a huge map of Africa so that the children could have an idea of its size and diversity, complete with flags and hand-made clay animals. This has enhanced our work on habitats as we wondered how humans can stop the Sahara Desert from getting bigger and what is being done to help wild animals in the grasslands of Ethiopia.
