Primary World Languages International Week Activities

During International Week, KS2 World Languages students had the opportunity to do an activity in all the different languages (Japanese, French, Mandarin and Spanish). We organised the children in new groups (different from their language group) and they did a 25 minutes activity in each language.

These are the activities that each language did:

French: French skipping and playing traditional French games.

Japanese: Singing and dancing to a traditional Japanese song.

Mandarin: Singing and dancing to a traditional Chinese song and Diabolo (juggling activity)

Spanish: A Quiz about Spain and learning a Spanish dance (la Macarena).

It was such a wonderful week for World Languages, children and teachers had so much fun.
