Medals Galore at Thai National Short Course Championship

During the half Term Break, six swimmers from Bangkok Prep competed in the Thailand Short Course Swimming Championships. Between them they won a staggering 34 Medals.

The stand out performer was Nao winning a total of 11 Medals, 3 Gold, 5 Silver and 3 Bronze. Swimming a shattering 30 races, 15 Prelims and 15 Finals in three days. Nao had by far the best performance in her Age Group.

Elizabeth was placed 2nd Overall in her age group after winning 4 Bronze Medals, swimming in 15 events and making the finals in 13.

Dean Swam in 4 Events and Medaled in all 4; winning 1 Gold, 1 Silver and 2 Bronze. The highlight being the 100 I.M, swimming it in 1.00 which is an average of 15 seconds a length – what an awesome time.

Angelina was placed 1st Overall in her age group after winning 3 Silver and 2 Bronze Medals.

Yuki as a 9-year old competing in the 10 – 11-year-old group won 2 Silver and 4 Bronze Medals, he is surely one for the future and it won’t be long before he is breathing down his sister Nao’s back.

Nisha again dominated the breast stroke winning Golds in the 50m and 100m. This was also followed up with Bronze in both the 50m and 100m free.
