Marlin Mayhem Results April 3, 2018Thank you to all 95 swimmers who attended the weekend carnival of the Marlin Mayhem Swim Meet 2018. This is traditionally a favourite for Prep to attend as it allows all of our squad swimmers to experience a fun meet against traditional rivals. Bangkok Prep are so proud of our 16 swimmers who attended their first ever competitive meet – congratulations on your debut. The coaching staff are extremely proud of all our swimmers. This year the team was hoping for a 3Peat and unfortunately we fell just short. You will note by the scores that the margin was extremely narrow.1st Place – St Andrews Marlins – 2940.52nd Place – Bangkok Prep Bulldogs – 2935.53rd Place – Patana Tiger Sharks – 1901Daylight 4th …and then the other 12 schools.*A five point margin in scores close to 3000.There are no excuses and most importantly our swimmers were a credit to the School in appearance, sportsmanship and obviously ability in the pool.Special mention to Josh Signal who received his first ever medal in his years of swimming where his dedication and commitment to Prep has been ever present. It is wonderful to see so many new swimmers attend their first competition and one of our long term warriors achieve Bronze in 100m Freestyle 15 years & over (apparently this is his last swimming competition…we will see about this Josh. The coaching staff feel privileged to be part of this transition from old Bulldog to up and coming pups.Individual Awards9 – 10 BoysMatt Jatupornpakdee Overall 2nd Place9 – 10 GirlsCoco Scales Overall 1st PlaceYura Saruwater Overall 3rd Place11 – 12 GirlsElizabeth Wilkins Overall 2nd Place13 – 14 GirlsAngelina Allen Overall 2nd PlaceJulissa Boen Overall 3rd PlaceOver 15 BoysDean Vasarachond Overall 1st Place KEY STAGE 3 SCHOOL PHOTOGRAPHS – MONDAY 1ST – WEDNESDAY 3RD MARCH 2021Dear Key Stage 3 Parents, I am writing to let you know that the official Secondary School photographs ...See More Eco-Schools Green Flag ReaccreditationBangkok Prep has achieved a second round accreditation of the Eco-Schools Green Flag Award, in which ...See More EPQ Student Speaks at World Health Innovation SummitThis week a Year 13 EPQ student was invited to speak at the World Health Innovation Summit to discuss ...See More
