Letter from the Head of Primary – 9 June 2017 June 9, 2017By Head of Primary Duncan StonehouseThank you to those of you that were able to attend the Year 6 Parents Transition Meeting this morning. During this meeting we talked about the transition process from KS2 to KS3 and the plans that we have to ensure the Primary children flourish as Secondary Students. There are a multitude of consistent threads that run throughout Bangkok Prep. Although appropriate age related factors are in place, the life values, house system, curriculum progression and ethos are consistent for all students at our school. To that end, Bangkok Prep will truly be one school on two campuses.I would also like to congratulate the Primary children that took part in the ‘Bangkok Prep’s Got Talent’ Performance on Thursday. Clearly, we have some very talented singers, dancers, and even some amazing card magicians. Thank you to Mr O’ Sullivan, the judges and Primary Student Council for arranging this event. For more information, please contact primary.sec@bkkprep.ac.thValue of the month for June is Resourceful – Please talk to your children about how to creatively solve problems and being resourceful.
