Bulldogs win Marlin’s Mayhem for second year March 6, 2017On 4th-5th March, 80 of our Bulldog swimmers competed in the annual St. Andrew’s Marlin’s Mayhem swim meet in a grueling two day event.“We comfortably went back-to-back in winning the trophy for the second year in a row,” says Head of Aquatics Matt Ferrier, “and our swimmers appeared to be even more fitter and well prepared for this meet. Once again our 25m turns were awesome and our finished more polished.“There were some great races between some fierce competitors and it was most pleasing to see our Bulldogs perform with humility and sportsmanship.“Now that over 15 percent of our school population trains and is looking to compete in competitive swimming, we are unearthing some amazing talent as well as enjoying the incredible ability of some of our more experienced swimmers.”There were too many standout performances to mention, but here are the swimmers who made the podium:9-10 Girls Champion: Coco 11-12 Girls 3rd Place: Julissa 11-12 Girls Champion: Angelina 11-12 Boys Champion: Sean 13-14 Gilrs Champion: Nisha 13-14 Boys Runner Up Champion: Craig 13-14 Boys Champion: Dean 15 & Over 3rd Place Champion: WinCoaches Award (3 way tie): Perth Team Player Award: NaaniFor more information, please contact Matt Ferrier: mferrier@bkkprep.ac.th Alumni Highlight – Jeffrey Does It All!Jeffrey Pangputhipong was part of Bangkok Prep's first graduating class back in 2012.
