Our programme of study is based on the National Curriculum of England, offering a quality education to students from Nursery to Year 13. We offer a rigorous I/GCSE programme to Year 10 and Year 11 students as a precursor to the Cambridge-approved A Levels available to study in Year 12 and Year 13. From August 2016, the school introduced Extended Project Qualification (EPQ), which is one element of the AQA Baccalaureate, thus preparing students towards University education worldwide.

Bangkok Prep is one school based across two campuses, both of which are located in safe, secure and prime residential areas of Bangkok. The Primary Campus at Sukhumvit 53 is situated adjacent to the Thong Lo skytrain station in the heart of Sukhumvit. The Secondary Campus T77 is situated near to a newly built residential and retail complex and close to On Nut skytrain. Bangkok Prep is perhaps the most conveniently located international school in Bangkok.
The Primary Campus offers state-of-the-art facilities comprising an indoor sports complex with dance and drama studios, an elevated indoor jogging track, and a regulation size multipurpose indoor sports hall along with a 25-meter outdoor swimming pool.
In addition, there are computer rooms, a library, several playgrounds, multipurpose artificial grass sports fields, an outdoor Early Years Foundation Stage learning centre, a 350-seat auditorium with music practice rooms and a specialist Creative Arts Centre for Music, Art, Drama and Design Technology.
The Secondary Campus is less than 3 kilometres away from the original campus at Sukhumvit 53 and has been carefully designed to provide a safe and secure 21st century learning environment for 11- 18 year olds. It comes complete with state-of-the-art learning facilities alongside the latest security systems, 200KW solar cell technology and environmentally friendly systems to support our Green Flag status.
The new Secondary Campus offers great opportunities for student learning through technologically advanced classrooms, ‘break-out’ learning spaces and Sixth Form study areas. Full scale musical and theatrical productions take place in a new 400+ seat theatre or the smaller ‘black box’ drama facility with professional lighting and sound equipment. In line with our goal of developing high achieving yet well-balanced students, our new campus provides Bangkok Prep students with a wide range of facilities to support their well-being. The new campus offers a FIFA regulation Football pitch that also has a four lane running track on its rapid draining astroturf. The Olympic sized 50m x 25m swimming pool has the latest in touchpad technology with raised and shaded seating to accommodate spectators’ at large events. The indoor Sports Hall can accommodate two fixtures with its double court-spacing and supports basketball, badminton, volleyball and netball. The Fitness Centre, Dance and Gymnastic studios add to the breadth on offer.
Bangkok Prep provides an education where students can prepare for life and realise their full potential through a stimulating and challenging international learning community. We aspire to an appreciation of cultural diversity and a willingness to embrace social and personal responsibility.
Our school creates a warm, caring, supportive environment that is the Bangkok Prep community. The student-teacher ratio is excellent with the average class size of 22 students. This highlights a nurturing learning experience for our students. Our fully qualified teaching team is here to make sure that the students are happy and progressing well at Bangkok Prep.
The school is very proud of its international approach to education. Forty nationalities are represented in our school and we celebrate our cultural diversity. Students will develop their own sense of identity whilst recognising and empathising with other cultures, traditions and beliefs.
With enrolment now approaching 1300 students, everyone is well-connected with strong friendships across different year levels and cultures. Bangkok Prep students are intellectually stimulated, cheerful, motivated and hard-working.
The students’ lives also extend beyond the academic day with extramural sport competitions with other schools, sports coaching programmes, tutoring clubs and an extensive, exciting after school activities programme – with over 100 clubs such as debating society, orchestra training, tennis, badminton club, chess club, phonics, and much more.
We have an active student council and after school activities that have a community service focus to them. The residential trips and a number of the field trips organised across the school are also linked into environmental and community service programmes.
We have a very committed, close-knit and valued parents association called ‘Friends of Bangkok Prep’ (FOBP), who regularly become involved with the school on a variety of occasions throughout the year. FOBP organise coffee mornings for parents, support special days and get involved in many international events. This is a good opportunity to meet up with parents, build social ties and discuss ideas that you have for the school.
